About the Role
Emirates SkyCargo seeks a Cargo Operations Service Specialist to provide operational oversight for Global Operations Services, managing cargo handling tenders, station start-ups, and supplier performance.

Responsibilities
- Manage tender processes and station start ups with key stakeholders
- Manage Cargo Operations Services Officers (COSO) activities and workload allocation
- Prioritise tender projects and validate evaluations and scoring with key stakeholders
- Support COSOs during supplier negotiations
- Collaborate with Learning & Talent to maintain the operational training framework
- Participate in supplier Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
- Execute action items from strategic initiatives as directed by the Cargo Handling Services and Performance Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in cargo operations, handling procurement, or supply chain management
- Solid understanding of SGHA, IATA regulations (Airport Handling Manual AHM 801, ISAGO), and global cargo handling standards
- Strong knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS), Quality Management Systems (QMS), training standards, and performance scoring systems
- Team leadership and delegation
- Analytical skills and attention to detail

Job Purpose
- A World leader in air cargo, reaching over 140 destinations across 6 continents.
- The Cargo Operations Service Specialist will provide operational oversight for Global Operations Services (GOS), overseeing cargo handling tenders, station start ups, and supplier performance.
In this role you will
- Manage tender processes and station start ups with key stakeholders, developing and maintaining Ground Handling Agent (GHA) evaluation, selection, and renewal frameworks.
- Manage Cargo Operations Services Officers (COSO) activities and workload allocation, providing functional guidance on technical evaluations and projects.
- Prioritise tender projects and validate evaluations and scoring with key stakeholders.
- Support COSOs during supplier negotiations to ensure all requirements are addressed.
- Collaborate with Learning & Talent (L&T) to maintain the operational training framework and enhance course content and delivery.
- Participate in supplier Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring actions and Service Improvement Notices are tracked to closure.
- Execute action items from strategic initiatives as directed by the Cargo Handling Services and Performance Manager.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in cargo operations, handling procurement, or supply chain management.
- Solid understanding of SGHA, IATA regulations (Airport Handling Manual AHM 801, ISAGO), and global cargo handling standards.
