Cargo Inventory Management Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Apply a network-based approach to optimize network margin based on demand.
• Monitor flight economic performance, analyze flow and flight trends, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Organize stakeholder performance reviews, highlight route constraints, and establish mitigation plans.
• Set cargo inventory strategies covering capacity mix, inventory controls, overbooking, risk levels, and entry conditions.
• Monitor strategy impact through reports, analysis, and feedback, then direct real-time changes to maximize contribution.
• Participate in projects as a cargo inventory management subject matter expert.
• Evaluate team objectives, plans, procedures, and practices and implement changes when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 6 years of job-related airline, cargo, or logistics experience.
• Strong understanding of revenue management and network optimization principles and practices.
• Good understanding of cargo operational and commercial processes.
• Advanced quantitative, analytical, and decision-making skills with Tableau, Power BI, and Excel proficiency.
• Ability to lead and collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English with strong persuasion and influencing capabilities.
• Project and stakeholder management experience, plus the ability to drive digitization, innovation, and change management.
