About the Role

- Maintain a high standard of all dessert food preparation and service in respective Kitchens
- Coordinate in detail on the Restaurant / Banquet / food production and all specific duties to employees under supervision
- Constantly be alert on freshness, presentations and temperature of food served
- Ensure food portioning, serving requisition / receiving from stores are properly controlled
- Responsible for correct timing during service and ensure food served is always of highest standards
- Constantly check quality of food prepared with regard to taste and temperature
- Insist on uniform visual appearance of all dishes prepared; presentation and garnish must be prepared according to standards
- Monitor and fully implement portion control established with recipe cards and butcher test; minimize waste and spoilage

Job Summary
- The Chef De Partie will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of all dessert food preparation and service in their respective Kitchens according to the standards required by the management
Key Responsibilities
- To reflect the Shangri La Philosophy by providing the highest quality of service to our customers and employees
- To coordinate, in detail on the Restaurant / Banquet / food production and all specific duties to employees under his supervision
- To constantly be alert on freshness, presentations and temperature of food served
- Ensures food portioning, serving requisition / receiving from stores are properly controlled
