Responsibilities
- Source and acquire pre owned vehicles through auctions, trade ins, private sellers, or wholesale dealers
- Conduct vehicle inspections and review condition reports
- Negotiate pricing and purchase terms with sellers
- Maintain up to date knowledge of market trends and current wholesale values
- Ensure proper documentation and title transfer for all acquisitions
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, sellers, and other sourcing partners
- Monitor inventory needs and coordinate with the sales team to understand demand
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and transactions
- Follow all state and federal regulations regarding vehicle purchases
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive purchasing, sales, or appraisal preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and market trends
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally to inspect and pick up vehicles
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self motivated and able to work independently

Job Description
- Carzilla Motors is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Pre Owned Car Purchasing Agent to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring high quality used vehicles for our dealership or resale inventory.
- This role requires strong negotiation skills, an understanding of vehicle market values, and a commitment to making informed purchasing decisions that support our company’s growth and profitability.
