Captain Waiter supporting front-of-house operations at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi.
Responsible for guest experiences, service excellence, staff coordination, and communication with kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage seating arrangements and table assignments to optimize flow and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee order accuracy, service timing, and presentation.
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff.
- Conduct staff training on service protocols, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
- Monitor health, safety, and sanitation compliance in the dining area.
- Manage reservations and special requests.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and wine or beverage pairings.
- Perform opening and closing duties, station setup, and inventory checks.
- Provide performance feedback and support staff development.
Requirements
- Experience in a professional front-of-house service role.
- Ability to manage staff and coordinate with kitchen operations.
- Detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and wine or beverage pairings.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
