Role Overview
Oversee hotel security operations, emergency preparedness, access control, incident reporting, fire safety, and security training.
Security Operations
- Plan, implement, and monitor hotel security policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Supervise patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and loss prevention.
- Control back-of-house access for contractors, suppliers, and visitors and manage visitor passes.
- Maintain confidentiality of security records and investigations and review daily security logs and reports.
Emergency and Fire Safety
- Ensure readiness for emergency situations in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Coordinate inspections and preventive maintenance of safety and firefighting equipment with Engineering.
- Maintain and update emergency manuals, fire and safety procedures, and crisis management plans.
- Conduct fire drills, evacuation exercises, and emergency simulations.
- Maintain relationships with local police, fire brigade, and relevant authorities.
Training and Compliance
- Train employees on basic security awareness and emergency responsibilities.
- Provide security team training in firefighting, lifesaving, crime-scene preservation, crisis response, report writing, and guest interaction.
- Coordinate continuous technical and skills training with Human Resources and Learning and Development.
- Ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System, including quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, food safety, and customer complaint handling.
- Participate in risk management, environmental protection, energy and water saving, and continuous improvement programs.
