Position Summary
The Senior Business Systems Analyst leads complex analysis for a Credit Risk and ECL rewrite program.
The role connects business, risk, finance, data and technology teams and supports strategic target-state capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions across Risk, Finance, Technology, Data and Regulatory Reporting.
- Elicit, analyze, document and validate business, functional, non-functional, data, control and reporting requirements.
- Own requirements for portfolio segmentation, staging methodology, PD, LGD and EAD.
- Address scenario-based forecasting, overlays, provisioning, impairment reporting, controls and reconciliation.
- Define current-state and target-state processes, business rules and data requirements.
- Lead traceability, impact assessment, solution clarification and scope management.
- Support design reviews, testing strategy, UAT, implementation readiness and defect resolution.
- Prepare governance materials and escalate risks, issues and dependencies.
Required Experience
- Strong experience in banking transformation, Credit Risk, ECL, IFRS 9, provisioning or impairment initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience delivering system rewrites, modernization or large transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end requirements lifecycle and SDLC delivery.
