- Design and manage intuitive dashboards and tools for a unified view of the Affinity market
- Develop self serve applications to help partners understand member needs
- Uncover insights through exploratory analysis and evaluate event impacts and trends
- Create scalable business solutions by working with cross functional teams
- Act as a thought partner to partners and colleagues on Affinity market dynamics
- Champion data integrity by establishing validation methods and documentation practices
- Advance data literacy across the team, promoting best practices in BI and data storytelling
- Mentor and support team growth, sharing technical knowledge and business insight
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
- 3 7 years of experience in analytics, data analysis, and statistical analysis
- Experience in the general insurance industry
- Bilingual in English and French
- Strong coding skills in SQL and Python
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Shiny/Posit)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Skilled in critical thinking, creative problem solving, and time management

Job Description
- As part of TD Insurance, the Data, Analysis, and Insights (DAI) group supports internal business partners by providing valuable insights and analysis.
- We're looking for a Business Intelligence & Insights Analyst to join our DAI team, leveraging cutting edge technologies to deliver strategic tools and solutions that drive Affinity business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage intuitive dashboards and tools that offer a unified, real time view of the Affinity market.
- Develop self serve applications to help partners better understand member needs—enhancing satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
- Uncover insights through exploratory analysis, evaluating event impacts and trends to support proactive strategy development.
- Create scalable, innovative business solutions by working closely with cross functional teams across marketing, analytics, and partner strategy.
- Act as a thought partner to our partners and colleagues, helping them understand Affinity market dynamics and the value of data.
- Champion data integrity and accuracy by establishing validation methods and clear documentation practices.
- Advance data literacy across the team, promoting best practices in business intelligence and data storytelling.
- Mentor and support team growth, sharing technical knowledge and business insight to uplift team capability.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 7 years of experience including expertise in analytics, data analysis, and statistical analysis and experience in the general insurance industry.
- Bilingual in English and French (required).
- Strong coding skills in SQL and Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Shiny/Posit).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, especially for quality control and data validation.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.
- Skilled in critical thinking, creative problem solving, and time management.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Pay Details
- Salary range: CAD 79,100 CAD 111,700 per year.
