Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall business strategy for the NRI segment, aligned with the organisation's broader wealth management objectives
- Build, lead and scale a high performing NRI focused relationship management and advisory team
- Develop and manage relationships with high net worth and ultra high net worth NRI clients, acting as a senior point of contact for key relationships
- Drive asset gathering, revenue growth and profitability across investment, advisory and lending solutions relevant to NRI clients
- Oversee client acquisition strategies across priority geographies, referral networks and strategic partnerships
- Ensure delivery of holistic wealth solutions, including investments, portfolio advisory, estate and succession planning, and cross border structuring
- Work closely with investment, product, legal and compliance teams to ensure solutions are aligned with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
- Monitor market trends, client needs and competitive dynamics within the NRI wealth management space
- Maintain strong governance, risk management and conduct standards across all client and business activities
- Represent the organisation at industry events, client forums and strategic engagements relevant to the NRI segment
Requirements
- 15+ years' experience in private banking or wealth management, with a significant focus on NRI clientele
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification or professional certifications preferred
- Proven track record of building and scaling NRI focused wealth management businesses
- Deep understanding of NRI client needs, including cross border investments, structuring, taxation considerations and succession planning
- Strong leadership experience managing senior relationship managers and advisory teams
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, client acquisition and long term client retention
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with credibility at UHNW client level
- Strong commercial judgement, governance mindset and commitment to ethical client outcomes

The Successful Applicant
