A well-established international financial institution seeks an experienced Risk Manager to strengthen its risk management framework across credit, market, operational, and regulatory risk disciplines.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the organisation's Risk Appetite Framework, ensuring alignment with business strategy and risk tolerance
- Manage and update the enterprise risk register, ensuring key risks are identified, monitored, and appropriately mitigated
- Prepare and coordinate the annual Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP)
- Produce risk reporting for senior management and Board level committees, highlighting key trends, exposures, and mitigation measures
- Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of required changes within the risk management framework
- Conduct periodic reviews of risk and credit policies to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and industry best practices
- Prepare materials and documentation for Risk Management Committee meetings
- Review credit proposals, perform risk analysis, and provide recommendations to relevant approval committees
- Assess and recommend counterparty limits while monitoring ongoing compliance
- Oversee derivatives exposure and margin management activities, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements
- Support regulatory reporting obligations, including derivatives related reporting requirements
- Identify, assess, and manage operational risks across the business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related discipline
- 3–6 years' experience within Risk Management, ideally gained within banking, financial services, or a leading consulting firm
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, regulatory reporting, financial markets, and banking products
- Experience across operational, credit, and enterprise risk management disciplines
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and perform effectively in a fast paced environment
- Strong organisational and administrative capabilities
- Up to date knowledge of the evolving legal and regulatory landscape
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal

Candidate Profile
