Job Purpose

  • We are a fast growing Business Setup, Tax, and Accounting Consulting firm based in the UAE, seeking an experienced and well connected Business Development Specialist to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • New Business Acquisition: Identify, target, and acquire new clients for business setup, corporate tax, VAT, accounting, and advisory services across mainland and free zone jurisdictions.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, from lead generation through to deal closure.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue and new client acquisition targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, industry trends, and competitor positioning.
  • Client & Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long term relationships with entrepreneurs, SME owners, investors, and corporate clients.
  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective clients, understanding their business needs and proposing suitable structuring, tax, and accounting solutions.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of referral partners — including banks, PRO services, legal consultants, real estate agents, and free zone authorities.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction through proactive follow up and smooth handover to service delivery teams.
  • Sales Strategy & Reporting: Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth targets.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service packages tailored to client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • 6–7 years of experience in business development/sales, specifically within a UAE based business setup, tax, or accounting consulting firm (mandatory).
  • Must be currently based in the UAE.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consulting/professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of UAE business setup processes (mainland, free zone, offshore).
  • Working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and general accounting/advisory service offerings.
  • Familiarity with UAE free zones, licensing authorities, and regulatory bodies (DED, various Free Zone Authorities, FTA).
  • Existing network of contacts/referral sources within the UAE business community is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Self motivated, target driven, and comfortable working independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

What Would Make You Stand Out

  • Existing book of clients or referral relationships in business setup/tax/accounting space.
  • Experience selling to SMEs, startups, and multinational entities.
  • Background in a similar consulting firm (business setup, tax advisory, or accounting/audit firm).
  • Multilingual capability relevant to UAE's diverse business community.
