- Identify and pursue new opportunities for the organization to diversify across sub industry, emerging technology and services propositions to build pipeline
- Work with KPMG teams to create integrated propositions to meet the needs of specific industries or clients to build pipeline
- Support the interlock with the delivery organization to ensure teams support program delivery and development of innovative commercial constructs
- Own and contribute to the growth of senior stakeholder relationships within government and major Qatari companies
- Own and manage key relationships within the KPMG partner network to drive pipeline from within the firms’ client base
- Own and manage the relationship with key stakeholders to develop co selling opportunities
- Support stakeholders with bids and proposals for large scale transformation programs
- Work with solution design team to respond to RFQs/RFPs in a timely manner
- Work as a trusted advisor with clients around their strategic business and technology needs
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree: Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Proven experience working as a business development officer or similar role
- Experience in Qatar market within the Public and private sector
- High level of technical proficiency and computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and management skills
- Exceptional negotiation and decision making skills
- Effective communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Detail oriented

Role Overview
- KPMG is looking for a Business Development Professional, responsible for driving utilization and dependence upon KPMG Qatar as the go to place for all internal and external Clients.
- Creates and progresses opportunities for the firms in the international market by leveraging a hybrid skillset of business development, presales, technical excellence and delivery.
- Advocates innovation both within the firm and with clients and takes a role in developing team members to their full potential as well as promoting collaboration across teams.
Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities

- Owns and contributes to the growth of senior stakeholder relationships within government and major Qatari companies.

Qualification and Experience
- Minimum qualification: Undergraduate degree: Bachelor’s degree.
- Postgraduate: MBA or a relevant would be an advantage international institution.
- Preferably with a Big 4 Audit firm or in Global Consulting firms would be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Proven experience working as a business development officer or similar role.
- Experience in Qatar market within the Public and private sector.
- High level of technical proficiency and computer literacy Microsoft Office particularly with PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and management skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and decision making skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong business acumen.
