Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage and troubleshoot the Work Orders issued as part of Roll Out & daily operations
- Perform a variety of skilled duties in support of the AMI team including reading, building, programming, installing, activating, inspecting, diagnosing, replacing, and routing AMI meters
- Assist in preparing all technical daily reports related to SMOC Operations, in a timely manner
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve operation problems
- Provide necessary assistance to Supervisors/Analyst as and when required in the execution of work processes
- Coordinate with client departments, customers, contractors, site team as required
- Handle SMOC, AMI sub systems and other associated program for meter installation and complaint system
- Keep record and prepare report regarding all kinds of data from SMOC and AMI sub systems as per client requirements
- Handle extensive data tracking, sorting, updating, recording and preparing all kinds of reports with appropriate format
- Work in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement section on securing and maintaining the ISO / Risk Management / ISMS certification
- Carry out and ensure compliance of all activities within the Installation Section are in line with client health and safety regulations
- Ensure one's availability to work across all three shifts, in a 24/7 environment
Requirements
- Technical Diploma / Degree in major of Computer/Software Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role with hands on experience on various Operation & Maintenance (O&M) application
- Proficiency in handling Electricity and / or Water Metrology
- Ability to communicate with end user customers to resolve issues, gaps, and collect data
- Very strong knowledge and experience in working on PC & system applications, MS Office
- Basics of meter communication issues

Role Overview
- The AMI Operator is responsible for the efficient execution of SMOC operational activities, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of processes. The role focuses on managing work orders and maintaining meter data integrity through thorough verification and validation.
Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Monitor, manage and troubleshoot the Work Orders issued as part of Roll Out & daily operations.
- Performs a variety of skilled duties in support of the (AMI) team including reading, building, programming, installing, activating, inspecting, diagnosing, replacing, and Routing AMI meters.
