Company Overview

  • United Diesel is the authorized distributor of Renault Trucks, Tata Motor, Buses and Trucks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare business development strategy identifying market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Build a strong pipeline and database for Abu Dhabi region.
  • Meet required sales targets on monthly basis.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities in MHE market.
  • Visit prospective customers to show samples and inform about pricing.
  • Compile and interpret market intelligence data.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with principals and suppliers.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sales agreements.
  • Open new customer accounts and inform customers of delivery schedules.
  • Provide sales status reports to Sales Manager.
  • Provide feedback on market conditions and competitive products.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree preferred; Automobile or Mechanical engineer an advantage.
  • 7 9 years sales experience in MHE.
  • Strong product knowledge and market knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic an advantage.
  • Self motivated and target driven.
  • UAE/GCC valid driving license.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Product Knowledge: knowledge of Material Handling Equipment.
  • Sales and Marketing: principles of showing, promoting, and selling products.
  • Market Knowledge: knowledge of target customer, industry, territory.
  • Language: Proficient in English; Arabic and Hindi an advantage.
  • Critical Thinking, Persuasion, Active Listening, Negotiation, Social Perceptiveness.
