Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will lead the commercial expansion of the robotics business (advanced humanoids & dogs) for
Chery International
across the UAE region.
This role is responsible for identifying market opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for solutions across key sectors.
The position requires a strong understanding of regional market dynamics, government ecosystems, and emerging technology adoption, with a focus on positioning as a key player in the region’s innovation and smart technology landscape.
1. Regional Business Development & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute business development strategies across UAE
- Identify new opportunities in sectors such as smart cities, government services, automotive, education, hospitality, retail and healthcare.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
2. Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Building
- Establish partnerships with government entities, semi-government organizations, and large enterprises
- Collaborate with regional innovation hubs, free zones, and technology ecosystems
- Lead negotiations for commercial agreements, joint ventures, and pilot programs
3. Market Intelligence & Regional Strategy
- Analyze UAE market trends in robotics, AI, and automation
- Identify regulatory, cultural, and commercial factors influencing adoption
- Provide strategic recommendations for product positioning and expansion plans
4. Product Commercialization & Go-to-Market
- Work closely with R&D and product teams to align robot solutions with regional requirements
- Support pricing strategies and business models
- Lead product demonstrations, pilot deployments, and customer onboarding
5. Government & Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with regional government authorities, smart city initiatives, and regulatory bodies
- Support participation in tenders, public sector projects, and large-scale initiatives
- Represent the company at regional exhibitions, forums, and industry events (e.g., GITEX Global)
6. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve revenue and growth targets; Lead client engagement, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Track KPIs and optimize business development strategies
Qualifications And Experience And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- Over 2 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships of humanoid/dogs robots in UAE
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English & Arabic (spoken & written)
- Strong network base & track record of closing deals with government or enterprise clients in UAE
- Ability to develop and execute regional market entry strategies
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value
- The candidate needs to have a valid UAE Driving License
