Responsibilities
- Secure new accounts and maintain existing portfolio to reach yearly gross margin objectives
- Collaborate with all levels of the organization on key opportunities
- Conduct client visits and support via provision of market expertise and knowledge
- Gather and distribute relevant market intelligence to key stakeholders
- Target, hunt and find valuable new prospects and customers
- Follow up sales leads generated from the network
- Quote new business opportunities and follow up
- Issue SOP and implement the onboarded business
- Prepare RFI and lead RFQ’s as bid owner
- Connect and work across several departments: operations, sales, tender management, procurement, network agents and finance
- Follow up assigned account and update monthly/quarterly quotations and provide day to day commercial support
- Put all sales activities/visits in the CRM
Requirements
- 3 4 years' experience working in Logistics & Warehouse management in the freight forwarding industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Sales and Marketing
- Excellent Computer skills (particularly in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Fluent in English & excellent communication skills & presentation skills
- Strong Negotiation Skills and ability to build customer value propositions
- Having commercial mindset, Customer centric mindset & target oriented
- Proficient in working with global and local leaders to develop short & long terms goals
- Strong team player and ability to work with all functional areas
- Ability to influence internal and external customers on issues impacting the business
- Strong business acumen and expert in consultative selling techniques and account planning skills
- Ability to achieve individual and organizational sales targets

Job Purpose
- The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and driving new business opportunities to support the company’s growth objectives.
- This role focuses on building and maintaining strong client relationships, expanding market presence, and ensuring revenue growth through strategic partnerships, market research, and effective sales strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Secure new accounts and maintain existing portfolio to reach yearly gross margin objectives.
