We’re Hiring: Business Development Engineer

Zawaya Albina Engineering Consultancy is looking for a qualified, proactive, and results-driven

Business Development Engineer

to join our team in Riyadh.

We are seeking a professional with proven experience in

business development within engineering consultancy companies

, with the ability to identify new opportunities, build professional client relationships, and support the company’s growth in the Saudi market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with developers, contractors, consultants, and private sector clients.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor market opportunities, upcoming projects, tenders, and potential partnerships.
  • Coordinate with the proposals, technical, and management teams to support technical and financial submissions.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, business events, and professional engagements.
  • Manage existing client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Prepare regular reports on leads, opportunities, pipeline status, and business development activities.
  • Support management in growth planning and market expansion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum
  • 5–7 years
  • of experience in business development, corporate sales, or client relationship management.
  • **Previous experience in engineering consultancy companies is mandatory.**
  • Previous experience in the Saudi market is required.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and private sector clients.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prepare professional reports, presentations, and business proposals.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong follow-up skills with the ability to achieve business targets.
