About the Role

- Lead and manage the Design & Studies Department across architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines
- Ensure full coordination and integration between all engineering specialties
- Review and approve drawings, design packages, calculations, technical reports, specifications, and related documents before issuance
- Ensure all design deliverables comply with the Saudi Building Code, local authority requirements, and project specifications
- Manage design workflows, internal technical reviews, coordination procedures, and submission schedules
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, authorities, consultants, and internal engineering teams
- Build and develop the department and its technical team by attracting qualified talents, organizing roles and responsibilities, and developing internal workflows
- Establish and improve design procedures, technical review processes, quality control standards, templates, and coordination methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- 10–15 years of experience in engineering design within engineering consultancy companies or offices in Saudi Arabia
- Professional classification with the Saudi Council of Engineers as Professional Engineer or Consultant Engineer
- Proven experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary design teams
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code, authority approval procedures, and local regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, technical review, coordination, and design management skills
