Position Purpose
The Business Data Analyst bridges complex data and strategic action for manufacturing operations and executive management.
The role focuses on extracting, analyzing, and modeling data from the SAP S/4HANA ERP system.
The position provides insights to Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Production, Finance, and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze datasets from SAP S/4HANA modules including PP, MM, FI-CO, HCM, and SD.
- Monitor manufacturing performance, inventory levels, and cost variances.
- Develop automated interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Translate departmental KPI requirements into technical data solutions.
- Identify manufacturing trends, bottlenecks, and anomalies such as yield loss, downtime, and material waste.
- Recommend data-driven process improvements.
- Validate SAP source data and maintain consistent, accurate reporting.
- Maintain robust data documentation.

- Ability to synthesize complex and disparate data streams into clear narratives.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights as actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
