About the Role
Airbus Africa & Middle East seeks a Business Controller to manage multi-entity financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. The role also drives financial innovation and digital transformation projects, and provides strategic support to the International department.

Responsibilities
- Establish annual budget and quarterly forecasts in coordination with local, regional stakeholders and central finance
- Monitor cash and drive quarterly billing process to ensure accurate and timely invoicing across entities
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, investigate variances, and provide actionable recommendations to Management
- Secure Internal Control framework by managing MRC requirements and supporting Second Line testing
- Drive projects for transformation, simplification, and digitalization of financial processes
- Lead development and implementation of new digital financial tools and finance projects
- Act as champion for Artificial Intelligence: drive AI development initiatives and share awareness and best practices
- Provide strong business partnering and decision support to International / Business Growth department
- Manage budget adherence, track operational expenses, and build business cases to support business growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Data/Business Analytics or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Corporate Controlling, Audit, or Finance Transformation
- Expert in Financial Systems and Digital solutions (SAP, Google Suite Workspace, advanced GSheets and Gemini)
- Proven experience in Finance Transformation projects, digital tool deployment, or automation initiatives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in an international, multi cultural environment

Job Description
- Airbus Africa & Middle East operates with all three Airbus divisions integrated, offering a multicultural environment.
- The Business Controller role covers multi entity controlling, financial innovation, and regional controlling of the International department.
Primary Responsibilities
- Accountable for establishing annual budget and quarterly forecasts in coordination with stakeholders.
- Cash monitoring and driving quarterly billing process for accurate invoicing.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, investigating variances and providing recommendations.
- Secure Internal Control framework by managing MRC requirements and supporting Second Line testing.
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate financial or operational risks.
- Drive projects for transformation, simplification, and digitalization of financial processes.
- Lead development and implementation of new digital financial tools and finance projects.

Professional Skills
- Proven experience in Finance Transformation projects, digital tool deployment, or automation initiatives.
- Solid background in Business Controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control.
- Expert in Financial Systems and Digital solutions (SAP, Google Suite Workspace, advanced GSheets and Gemini).
- Finance, Data/Business Analytics Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Corporate Controlling, Audit, or Finance Transformation.
- Ability to work effectively in an international, multi cultural, and dynamic environment.
