Business Analyst (IT)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Engage commercial, IT, and external stakeholders and translate their needs into actionable requirements.
• Identify root causes and facilitate solutions using RCA and PFC techniques.
• Analyze current-state and future-state processes using BPMN and UML modeling.
• Collaborate on wireframes, mock-ups, and UI/UX designs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and support product backlog refinement and prioritization.
• Define acceptance criteria, support UAT, and help ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Support change management, business roll-out, post-go-live support, and training.
• Contribute to continuous learning, experimentation, feedback, and improvement within the delivery pod.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences, Commerce, or a relevant major with at least 5 years of job-related experience, or a high school, vocational, or diploma qualification with at least 6 years of job-related experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.
• Hands-on experience with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or a similar agile delivery framework.
• Experience with requirements analysis, UML/BPMN process modeling, and backlog management tools including JIRA, Azure DevOps, Draw.io, or Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

• Business analysis certifications such as ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, IREB, or BCS are preferred.
• Agile certifications such as CSPO, CSM, SAFe Practitioner, or CPOA are preferred.
• Commercial acumen and knowledge of airline B2B digital solutions are preferred.
