Role Overview

TEEMA is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to translate complex business needs into practical technology solutions.

The role partners with business leaders, technical teams, and end users to define requirements, improve processes, and support operational objectives.

Experience with IT infrastructure or cybersecurity initiatives is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with business leaders, clients, technical teams, and end users.
  • Document current-state and future-state processes, workflows, system specifications, and implementation materials.
  • Identify inefficiencies, system challenges, project risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend practical technology solutions and define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support feasible implementation and monitor requirements through delivery.
  • Analyze datasets, support hardware and software evaluation, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate implementation handover and support documentation, resolve project issues, and conduct post-implementation evaluations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual-thinking, problem-solving, communication, process-mapping, and documentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams, clients, managers, and end users.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure or cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity projects.
  • Knowledge of or hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
  • Programming or scripting experience.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and data-visualization tools.

The candidate can structure ambiguous requirements, challenge assumptions constructively, and guide stakeholders toward practical and sustainable solutions.
