Job Summary
Work with the IT department to define technical requirements and software specifications that support efficient business operations.
Collaborate with department heads to understand their needs and translate them into software system requirements.
Use creative problem-solving, technical judgment, communication, and attention to detail to support business and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs, document requirements, and revise existing system issues.
- Guide stakeholders on corrective actions to improve business processes.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Analyze trends and patterns in complex data sets.
- Evaluate processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Work with clients, technicians, managers, and end users to determine IT solutions.
- Communicate insights and findings to team members and management.
- Identify and resolve project issues.
- Recommend hardware and software procurement for client business goals.
- Coordinate implementation and process handover documentation.
- Define business system objectives and scope, and conduct post-project evaluations.
Preferred Experience
- Infrastructure and cybersecurity experience focused on disaster recovery for ServiceNow is preferred.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Business Analyst.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and experience in programming.
- Understanding of business functional areas.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data visualization is an asset.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
