Role overview

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor's degree in business or marketing is required.
• Three to four years of work experience in marketing or project management is required.
• Trade marketing or sales management experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of the German grocery, convenience, and specialist trade landscape is an advantage.

Required capabilities

• Experience managing trade marketing operations and projects is required.
• Experience with Coupa and Power BI and proficiency in Excel are required.
• German and English communication skills are required.
• The role requires analytical, organizational, negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier management capabilities.
• An independent, structured, flexible, and resilient working style is required.

Project planning and execution

• Plan annual and ad hoc projects considering costs, capacities, competencies, lead times, and execution requirements.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate multiple trade projects in parallel.
• Coordinate compliance checks, secondary placements, advertising material exchanges, and portfolio adjustments.

Supplier and stakeholder management

• Initiate project kick-offs, align briefings, and establish project approaches with suppliers.
• Review cost proposals, challenge pricing, support supplier selection, and coordinate supplier performance KPIs.
• Act as the service-provider point of contact during execution and resolve enquiries or complaints.

Process improvement and procurement

• Support business reviews with suppliers and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to new process and project-standard implementations.
• Support tenders, framework agreement updates, purchase orders, and supplier invoice checks.

Monitoring and reporting

• Monitor project progress, performance, deadlines, budgets, and approved annual spend.
• Coordinate regional quality assessment product purchases and shipments.
• Collaborate with account management, retail planning, procurement, accounting, field force, IT, and support teams.

Stakeholder environment

• The role involves communication in English with global finance and IT teams and collaboration across business, procurement, supplier, and support functions.
