- Assist in management of energy consumption and conservation

- Repair copper piping, pumps, water traps, and sewer installations
- Ensure compliance with Health technical standards and relevant legislation
- Manage planned and preventative maintenance CAFM system
Requirements
- Electronic Engineering Degree or Higher National Diploma with professional registration
- 3 5 years experience in a BMS position at management level
- Full understanding of relevant legislation including Health & Safety and Electricity at Work Regulations
- Experience in ELV networks with complex dual feed supplies including UPS and standby generator configurations
- Experience in preparing permits for working on complex equipment and BMS circuits
- Experience in tendering for large BMS contracts

Job Summary
- Responsible for overall delivery of legacy, base build correction programs, global assets system testing and commissioning, and Assets & Lifecycle Management (ALCM) and construction/fit out projects inclusive of design reviews and engineer of record accountability of the Facility assets.
- Demonstrate knowledge in both practical and theory requirements of a critical Facility substantiated by significant years of experience in the FM Industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the present BMS systems, plan and implement the program of works for a 100% operating profile of the facility BMS and associated components.
- Create and manage a full and comprehensive technical library on the facility BMS systems and associated components.
- Carry out a full test and inspection, including the ongoing confirmation periodic testing program to determine the BMS performance and requirements.
- Supervise and lead by example the Network Administrator and BMS team with their day to day work.
- Coordinate and approve all new works and the building of the system with regards to new works and any changes required on the BMS.
- Coordinate and manage any external company working on the BMS system. This is to include all RAMS and permit applications.
- In reporting to the Head of Projects, plan and structure all commissioning linked to the BMS.
- Prepare and maintain a schedule of critical spares for the BMS.
- To liaise with the work of the capital development team, undertaking new work projects assisting in feasibility studies involving close relationship with external electrical consultants.
- To assist in the management of energy consumption and conservation with specific emphasis on areas of responsibility.
- Understand and operate the building management system ensuring optimum performance of installed plant and equipment.
- Ability to understand of different materials used in piping systems and the methodology of repair
Minimum Qualifications
- Electronic Engineering Degree or Higher National Diploma with appropriate professional registration recognized by the Engineering Council together with evidence of continuing professional development & Preferred membership of professional body.
Minimum Experience
- 3 5 years’ experience in a BMS position, gaining managerial and professional experience at a management level.
Job Specific Skills
- Full understanding of all relevant legislation, including Health & Safety and Electricity at work Regulations, applicable to Estate maintenance, preferably with appropriate qualification in H&S Management.
- Experience of all aspects of BMS engineering and maintenance.
- Experience in ELV networks with complex dual feed supplies including UPS and standby generator configurations.
- Experience of preparing permits for working at an operational level on complex equipment and BMS circuits.
- Experience in tendering for large contracts such as BMS contracts.
- Experience and strong background in BMS Engineering and services.
