About the Role
Amentum is seeking a Builder Data Management Specialist to support the USAF BUILDER SMS database in Abu Dhabi. You will manage asset visibility, conduct condition assessments, and ensure data accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, engineers, technicians, and AMP Managers and Sub AMP Managers with asset visibility through the use of the USAF BUILDER SMS database
- Assist the Government in asset visibility through the sustainment of all base level assets in the SMS
- Provide proficient technicians to support the installation Built Infrastructure Assessment Team (BIAT) function
- Advise and assist the Government to ensure the asset inventory reflects sufficient level of detail to enable investment decisions
- Work with the Operations Flight shops, subject matter experts, and the Engineering Flight to advise and assist the Government on condition assessment methodology
- Conduct periodic quality reviews of systems (i.e., SMS, NexGenIT, GeoBase, etc.) as related to respective Sub AMPs
- Work with the Real Property Officer (RPO) to advise and to reconcile Real Property (RP)/RPIE inventory discrepancies between SMS and base RP records
- Advise and assist the Government in defining and prioritizing requirements within respective activities
- Maintain the SMS BUILDER facility inventory 100% in synchronization with the Air Force Accountable Property System of Record (APSR), NexGen IT
- Input and provide quality assurance of all necessary database entries in conjunction with other squadron flights
- Provide and maintain asset visibility of all facilities at the facility level and at the three subordinate levels
- Conduct Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs) on all RPA Type B, S, and LS facilities
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance
- US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance
- Ability to adapt to frequent change and a hectic, fast paced work environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with others in a positive, customer focused manner
- Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Experience with working and communicating with the Government or military personnel
- Ability to generate reports and lead meetings as required by the Customer

- Ability to use computers and computer software for recording, modifying, tracking, and displaying data, developing charts and graphs, and word processing
- Two to three years of experience in a similar role and/or operations
- Must have detailed inventory management experience, particularly in a government or military environment

Purpose and Scope
- To provide leadership, engineers, technicians, and AMP Managers and Sub AMP Managers with asset visibility through the use of the USAF BUILDER SMS database.
- The SMS influences when, where, and how to best maintain the Air Force’s built infrastructure.
- The Contractor shall assist the Government in asset visibility through the sustainment of all base level assets in the SMS and by providing proficient technicians to support the installation Built Infrastructure Assessment Team (BIAT) function.
- To advise and assist the Government to ensure the asset inventory reflects sufficient level of detail to enable investment decisions.
Essential Responsibilities
- Use subject matter experience combined with risk management techniques, MDI, and wing driven priorities to advise on establishing and defining system level priorities within respective Sub AMPs.
- Support the installation Built Infrastructure Assessment Team (BIAT) function to determine which assets should be added to the SMS inventory based on AMP and Government guidance, and to perform condition assessments.
- Conduct periodic quality reviews of systems (i.e., SMS, NexGenIT, GeoBase, etc.) as related to respective Sub AMPs.
- Work with the Real Property Officer (RPO) to advise and to reconcile Real Property (RP)/RPIE inventory discrepancies between SMS and base RP records.
- Advise and assist the Government in defining and prioritizing requirements within respective activities.
- Maintain the SMS BUILDER facility inventory 100% in synchronization with the Air Force Accountable Property System of Record (APSR), NexGen IT.
- Manage and administer functions of the BUILDER SMS database to ensure optimum access and usage of the database, and to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and currency of the data.
- Input and provide quality assurance of all necessary database entries in conjunction with other squadron flights.
- Provide and maintain asset visibility of all facilities at the facility level and at the three subordinate levels (below facility level) through detailed inventory of facility systems, components, and component sections.
- Maintain, update, and create detailed inventory data on all Type B, S, and LS facilities.
- Oversee the facility inventory of BUILDER and make updates to reflect accurate information.
- Conduct Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs) on all RPA Type B, S, and LS facilities on all of the inventoried systems.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

- Similar military experience.
- Facilities, project management, inventory management and operations experience.
- BUILDER Data Management experience.
- Associate degree or higher in project or inventory management a plus.
