Based in Port Hedland, WA, this Branch Manager opportunity leads a successful liquid and materials waste processing site, with genuine autonomy, accountability, and purpose. You will step into a key leadership role overseeing operations, with a strong mandate to drive safety excellence, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
Your ability to lead high-performing teams, supported by strong commercial acumen and experience in complex industrial operations, will be essential to your success.
The role can also be performed on a 14:7 FIFO roster from Perth.
Key Responsibilities
Champion a culture of safety and compliance through proactive initiatives, robust systems, and continuous improvement programs.
Ensure effective performance management, talent development, and succession planning to drive engagement, capability, and retention across operational teams.
Partner closely with Commercial and Finance teams to enhance data integrity, optimise processes, and support strategic market growth.
Oversee the operational and financial performance of the site, including P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Monitor and manage operational expenses, implementing efficiency and cost‑reduction programs that increase profitability while maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
You are an inspired, solutions‑focused operational leader with a proven record of managing complex industrial operations. You balance day‑to‑day site leadership with a continuous improvement mindset, ensuring high levels of team engagement, compliance, safety and customer satisfaction.
We’re seeking someone with:
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong operational management experience in liquid, material and hazardous waste collection or manufacturing or logistics operations.
Solid financial and commercial capability, including branch‑level P&L management and data‑driven decision‑making.
