Responsibilities
- Review job orders for manual binding projects.
- Prepare designs using hardboard and leather.
- Use leather, adhesives, and other raw materials cost-effectively.
- Create dummies and designs according to customer requirements.
- Adjust binding machine parts.
- Inspect binding machines regularly for malfunctions.
- Clean the printing press and peripheral equipment.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least three years of experience as manual binding staff in a leading printing press.
- At least three years of experience in book binding, dummy making, and leather-related binding work.
- Good knowledge and experience in measurement taking and folding.
- Exposure to book binding, day journal making, box making, and leather binding.
- Sound knowledge of leather and adhesive materials used in binding.
- Creative mindset.
