Job Purpose
Monitor, maintain, and support Building Management Systems controlling HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire alarm, water, and utility systems.
Ensure system reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
Work with facilities teams and contractors to support uninterrupted building operations and continuous performance improvement.
BMS Operations and System Monitoring
- Monitor and operate BMS platforms to ensure optimal performance of building services and equipment.
- Adjust system parameters and controls for HVAC, lighting, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Monitor alarms, system events, and performance trends and respond promptly to abnormalities.
- Inspect field devices, control panels, sensors, actuators, and associated equipment.
- Ensure BMS-controlled systems operate in line with operational and energy efficiency requirements.
Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Support
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair BMS controllers, sensors, actuators, and networking devices.
- Diagnose system faults and perform corrective maintenance to restore equipment performance.
- Support testing, commissioning, and modification of BMS systems and related building services.
- Respond to service requests, breakdowns, and emergency maintenance requirements.
- Provide technical assistance and operational guidance to building users and facilities personnel when required.
Requirements
- 2-7 years of experience is specified in the source job data.
- Ability to monitor and operate Building Management System platforms.
- Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair BMS controllers, sensors, actuators, and networking devices.
- Ability to support testing, commissioning, and modification of BMS systems and related building services.
- Ability to respond to service requests, breakdowns, and emergency maintenance requirements.
