Role Overview
LACASA is seeking a BIM Coordinator and Lead for interior design projects in Dubai, UAE.
The role coordinates BIM models for interior design projects and supports accuracy, standards compliance, and collaboration between design and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate BIM project federation and manage the BIM workflow.
- Maintain the BIM execution plan and ensure team compliance.
- Implement BIM project standards and lead weekly coordination meetings.
- Execute quality control procedures and perform clash detection.
- Manage daily model administration and maintenance.
- Monitor weekly submissions and integrate models from different disciplines.
- Provide BIM training where needed.
- Lead creation of detailed and advanced BIM families.
- Ensure deliverables meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Manage the BIM team and participate confidently in client interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of BIM experience with strong exposure to interior design or fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of LOD requirements, BIM standards, and coordination processes.
