About the Role

- Manage internal stakeholders and coordinate inputs from engineering, finance, legal, etc.
- Analyze risks to understand financial exposure and response strategies
- Participate in customer presentations and negotiations with Sales
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Bid Management
- M.Sc. in Engineering in IT or Telecommunication
- English and Arabic speaking mandatory
- Strong customer orientation and relationship management
- Strong business, technical, analytical, and communication skills
- PMP and APMP certification is a plus

Job Description
- Public Safety and Security (PSS) programme line offers critical communications solutions
- Portfolio includes TETRA, TETRAPOL, and 3GPP Broadband technologies
- Bid Manager owns and leads the bid project from opportunity to contract signature
Primary Responsibilities
- Managing the overall bid process from early opportunity identification to contract signature
- Defining the bid strategy and ensuring all internal activities and gate reviews are completed
- Developing together with Sales, Product line, and Operations an attractive offer
- Managing internal stakeholders and coordinating inputs from engineering, finance, legal, etc.
- Arranging and leading review meetings between phase reviews
- Ensuring correct respect of profitability and cash related internal rules
- Analyzing risks to understand financial exposure and response strategies
- Participating in customer presentations and negotiations with Sales
- Participating in the implementation of the PSS bid management transformation plan
Secondary Responsibilities
- Work in closed cooperation with Key Account managers to define sales strategy
- Collect and understand customer/end user requirements
- Educate and promote PSS products portfolio and services values
- Adapt presentation content according to customer audience and expectations
- Provide customers with solution options via technical whitepapers, presentations, and workshops
- Shape coming RFP according to PSS portfolio assets and USP
Professional Skills
- 5 years experience in Bid Management
- PMP and APMP certification is a plus
- Telco/IT engineering with technical pre sales international background
- 3GPP based solutions experience is a plus
- M.Sc. Engineering in IT or telecommunication
- Additional business education (e.g., MBA) is an advantage
Personal & Interpersonal Skills
- English and Arabic speaking mandatory, French is a plus
- Strong customer orientation and relationship management
- Strong team player
- Strong business, technical, analytical, problem solving and communication skills
