Role overview
Assist hotel guests with luggage during arrival and departure according to service standards.
Support guest comfort and satisfaction throughout the hotel stay.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome arriving guests and deliver their luggage to rooms efficiently.
- Load and unload baggage from vehicles and record it in log control sheets.
- Escort guests to rooms and explain hotel services, facilities, and emergency exits.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel products, services, and relevant travel information.
- Handle guest requests politely, refer them to relevant staff, and follow up when needed.
- Collect and secure luggage until departure and store it upon request.
- Remain visible in the lobby and offer assistance to guests carrying luggage.
- Handle luggage carefully and maintain clean, tidy storage rooms and trolleys.
- Maintain personal hygiene, grooming, uniform, and name badge standards.
Experience and requirements
- At least one year of experience as a Bellman in hospitality.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Required soft skills include self-awareness, friendliness, and a hardworking attitude.
