Responsibilities
- Assist the J 4 with development, implementation, management, and direction of U.S. engineering and basing efforts
- Coordinate and monitor U.S. base transitions, infrastructure related programs, initiatives and projects
- Coordinate with other agencies and engineering programs
- Assist J 4 in all basing operations and plans oversight
- Develop future plans to support policy and execution of base closure/transfers/growth
- Advise J 4 to ensure statutory requirements are fulfilled for accountability of equipment, facilities, environmental, contracts, and final site turnover
- Synchronize engineering deconstruction efforts
- Develop and track critical metrics and CCIRs
- Assist in development of SOPs, reports, and briefings for General Officer level meetings and forums
- Assist in accomplishment of campaign plan specific goals as specified by the COR
Requirements
- Experience supporting Director of Operations or similar senior leadership
- Knowledge of U.S. engineering and basing efforts
- Ability to coordinate base transitions and infrastructure programs
- Experience with environmental compliance and real estate
- Ability to develop SOPs, reports, and briefings for General Officer level

This position will be based out of Doha, Qa
Responsibilities
- The Basing Team Officer Assistant (BTOA) supports the Director of Operations, J 4, and is responsible for assisting the J 4 with overall development, implementation, management, and direction of U.S. engineering and basing efforts.
- The BTO assists the J 4 in coordinating and monitoring U.S. base transitions, infrastructure related programs, initiatives and projects, environmental compliance, and real estate.
- Coordinates with other agencies and engineering programs.
- Assists J 4 in all basing operations and plans oversight.
- Assists J 4 in developing future plans to support policy and execution of base closure/ transfers/growth.
- Advises the J 4 to ensure statutory requirements are fulfilled supporting accountability of equipment, facilities, environmental, contracts, and final site turnover.
- Synchronizes engineering deconstruction efforts.
- Develops and tracks critical metrics and CCIR s.
- Assists in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reports, and briefings for General Officer level meetings and forums for the J 4.
- Assists in the accomplishment of campaign plan specific goals as specified by the COR
