The position is a non-management Bartender role at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi.
The role focuses on beverage preparation, bar operations, payment processing, guest service, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare drinks according to recipes and measuring systems.
- Open and serve wine and champagne bottles.
- Maintain the bar, bar unit, tables, tools, and service areas.
- Prepare garnishes and stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
- Process payments, complete cashier reports, and resolve discrepancies.
- Secure beverages, storage areas, and company assets.
- Complete closing duties and follow safety and security procedures.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and respond to concerns.
- Maintain professional communication and positive working relationships.
- Stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and work across uneven or confined areas as required.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is required.
- The role requires clear professional communication, a clean professional appearance, and adherence to safety and security policies.
- The role requires standing or walking for extended periods and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- The role requires movement through narrow, confined, elevated, uneven, slippery, or stair-accessed areas.
