- Prepare and serve espresso based beverages, coffee, tea, and other hot and cold drinks according to standards
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and special requests
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and hygiene standards
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management
- Customize beverages to meet individual customer preferences
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth café operations
- Develop knowledge of coffee varieties, origins, and brewing techniques to educate customers
Requirements
- Experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role
- Knowledge of coffee varieties, origins, and brewing techniques
- Ability to operate espresso machines and other café equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Description
- Prepare and serve espresso based beverages, coffee, tea, and other hot and cold drinks according to established standards and recipes.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the point of sale (POS) system.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and special requests with a positive attitude.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and hygiene standards at all times.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management.
- Customize beverages to meet individual customer preferences while maintaining quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth café operations during peak and off peak hours.
- Develop knowledge of coffee varieties, origins, and brewing techniques to educate customers and make recommendations.
Qualifications
