Job Description
- The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving beverages while delivering exceptional guest service.
- Working within a hospitality environment, the role requires maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and efficiency, ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming and memorable experience.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, in line with established recipes and standards
- Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests
- Take customer orders accurately and handle cash or point-of-sale transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of coffee machines and related equipment
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control, including replenishment of supplies
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and health regulations
- Present beverages in an appealing and consistent manner
- Respond to guest inquiries, preferences, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Support team members and assist in other areas of the outlet when required
Desired Skill & Expertise
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing role preferred
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
