- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks including espresso based beverages using high quality beans
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment ensuring cleanliness and food safety
- Take customer orders, handle transactions, and provide knowledgeable recommendations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and maintain a clean, organised work area
- Stay updated on coffee trends and Baxterstorey's product range
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café or coffee shop
- Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
- Proficiency in operating espresso machines
- Strong latte art skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
- Food safety certification (desirable)
- In depth knowledge of coffee beans, roasts, and brewing methods
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
