Role Overview
The Bar Back supports the guest experience and helps maintain the high standards of Zuma, a contemporary Japanese restaurant.
The role supports bar service in a luxury, high-volume restaurant environment.
About Zuma
Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style.
The collection includes locations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Riyadh and is part of the Azumi collection.
Main Duties
- Support the Bar Team during service and help keep operations smooth and efficient.
- Prepare garnishes, glassware, ice, mixers, and other bar supplies.
- Maintain fully stocked bar stations throughout each shift.
- Maintain service quality and consistency for guests.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and hygienic.
- Clean and store equipment, clear and reset the bar, and support closing duties.
- Follow health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
What We Look For
- Proven experience as a Bar Back or higher in a luxury high-volume restaurant or similar.
