Zuma is seeking a Bar Back to support the guest experience and maintain high service standards in its contemporary Japanese restaurant in Doha.
About Zuma
Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection inspired by the Izakaya dining style, with locations across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Riyadh.
Zuma is part of the Azumi collection and emphasizes high standards, hospitality, teamwork, and positive service energy.
Main duties
- Support the bar team during service so the bar is prepared and service runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Prepare garnishes, glassware, ice, mixers, and other bar supplies for bartenders.
- Keep bar stations stocked and replenish products and equipment as needed.
- Maintain quality and consistency in the guest experience.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and hygienic throughout service.
- Clean and store equipment properly, clear and reset the bar, polish glassware, and support closing duties.
- Follow health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
What we look for
- Proven experience as a Bar Back or in a higher bar role in a luxury, high-volume restaurant or similar environment.
- A genuine love for culinary experiences and a passion for Japanese cuisine.
