Job Summary
FreeWheel builds advertising software and platforms that support publishers, advertisers, media buyers, and programmatic advertising operations.
The Backend Software Engineer will design, develop, and integrate scalable solutions for Buyer Cloud and the App team.
The role covers requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and application integration across the SDLC.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate software solutions aligned with business needs.
- Analyze system requirements and customize applications for optimal functionality.
- Support software updates and release rollouts.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
- Participate in code reviews and drive engineering best practices.
- Work with Quality Assurance to verify technical specifications and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues in applications and systems.
- Use market research and industry trends to inform project strategies and product offerings.
- Train operational staff on internally developed applications.
