Role Overview
FreeWheel's Buyer Cloud team builds and maintains services for configuring, managing, monitoring, and executing digital real-time bidding campaigns.
The App team focuses on APIs, support tools, and ad-serving systems that enable scalable programmatic advertising operations.
The engineer will design, develop, and integrate scalable backend solutions while contributing across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate software solutions.
- Analyze requirements, customize applications, and support software updates and release rollouts.
- Mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
- Work with Quality Assurance, troubleshoot complex issues, and champion reliable production systems.
- Synthesize market research, train operational staff, and exercise independent judgment in significant matters.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working with Python and Django.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs using Django and experience with PHP.
