Key Responsibilities
- Database Engineering: Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts to support large-scale database environments.
- System Integration: Develop and maintain Core Java applications and RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems.
- Requirement Gathering: Lead cross-functional collaboration sessions with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Performance Tuning: Apply deep knowledge of Oracle DB backend concepts to optimize database performance, indexing, and partitioning.
- Architectural Oversight: Ensure all solutions align with standard RDBMS principles, maintaining data integrity, security, and scalability.
- Legacy Code Review: Ability to read, analyze, understand and update legacy database queries, Java code and enhance it.
