Introduction
- We are seeking an experienced
Ife Mechanic
- to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems.
- This is a temporary role for
- 3 months only
- .
- The role will include both line maintenance and base maintenance work on modern commercial aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair IFE hardware and software.
- Work on passenger displays, servers, control units, cabling, and related components.
- Diagnose and fix faults with audio, video, connectivity, onboard networks, and passenger interface units.
- Carry out line maintenance tasks to support aircraft dispatch.
- Support base maintenance during scheduled checks and heavy maintenance inputs.
- Follow approved maintenance manuals, company procedures, and aviation standards.
- Complete work cards, technical documents, and maintenance records correctly.
- Maintain high safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
Mandatory Requirements
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, aviation qualification, or relevant electrical/electronic engineering qualification.
- Experience working with aircraft systems, avionics, or IFE systems.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, aircraft wiring, and fault finding.
- Able to read maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
- Commercial aircraft experience, ideally Boeing and/or Airbus.
- Able to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends where required.
- Good communication skills and able to work well in a team.
