About the Role
First Abu Dhabi Bank seeks an AVP for Trade Support in Abu Dhabi. The role executes daily T0 controls across FX, OTC and exchange traded derivatives, ensuring accurate booking, confirmation, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities
- Execute daily T0 control responsibilities across FX, OTC and exchange traded derivatives
- Validate new trades across IRS, FX options, swaptions, futures, structured notes, exotic options
- Ensure accurate trade booking in Murex and affirmation via MarkitWire
- Execute lifecycle management including rate fixings, option expiries, exercises, coupon processing
- Check intraday and EOD P&L impacts and validate Greeks and risk changes
- Manage confirmations, clearing and regulatory controls
- Support client onboarding and coordinate with Credit/KYC/Reference data
- Support automation, dashboard creation, and UAT
Requirements
- Experience in trade support, specifically in FX, OTC and exchange traded derivatives
- Product SME knowledge in Rates, FX, Derivatives, CMOD
- Proficiency in Murex, MarkitWire, Bloomberg

Role Overview
- The AVP executes daily T0 control responsibilities across FX, OTC and exchange traded derivatives, ensuring accurate booking, confirmation, lifecycle management and risk/P&L integrity.
Daily T0 Execution & Inbox Management
- Act as T0 Dealer Assist on rotation, triaging requests and ensuring SLAs are met.
- Route items using product folders.
Trade Capture & Validation & Client Onboarding
- Validate new trades across IRS, FX options, swaptions, futures, structured notes, exotic options.
- Ensure accurate trade booking in Murex and affirmation via MarkitWire.
- Fix trade discrepancies before EOD.
- Murex Set up of Client onboarding.
Lifecycle Management
- Execute rate fixings, option expiries, exercises, coupon processing, barriers, resets, amendments.
- Process physical and cash settlements.
- Support collateral teams by validating valuations.
P&L and Risk Support
- Check intraday and EOD P&L impacts.
- Validate Greeks and risk changes.
- Reconcile delta, decay, market data changes.
Confirmations, Clearing & Regulatory Controls
- Chase unaffirmed trades, manage confirmations.
- Ensure clearing eligible trades are sent to CCPs.
- Check regulatory completeness (UTI/UPI, LEIs).
Issue Resolution & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with FO Traders, Structurers, Sales, BO Settlements, IT, Risk, Product Control, Legal.
- Respond to FO queries.
- Support client/counterparty issues.
Process Improvement & UAT
- Support automation, dashboard creation, and workflow enhancements.
- Execute UAT for Murex, Markit Wire, market data changes.
- Maintain logs, KPIs and support daily MO huddles.
