About the Role
Join the IT Solutions team in Dubai as an AV and Security Solutions Technician.
Install, configure, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair IT, audiovisual, and security products at customer sites.
Work independently or within project implementation teams while following OEM standards, SLAs, company procedures, and HSE requirements.
IT Infrastructure Installation and Support
- Install, configure, commission, and maintain computers, servers, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
- Configure user accounts, permissions, shared folders, printers, and network resources.
- Install and configure routers, switches, access points, and structured cabling.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, component replacement, operating system updates, firmware upgrades, and software patches.
Audio Visual Solutions
- Install, configure, and commission Interactive Flat Panels and video conferencing equipment.
- Configure cameras, microphones, speakers, touch panels, and presentation systems.
- Perform audiovisual software and firmware updates and troubleshoot display, connectivity, audio, and video issues.
- Demonstrate installed systems and provide user orientation.
Security Solutions
- Install and configure IP CCTV surveillance systems, NVRs, DVRs, IP cameras, storage devices, remote viewing, and mobile applications.
- Perform camera positioning, focus adjustment, and recording verification.
- Install and troubleshoot access control systems where applicable.
- Support endpoint protection, firewalls, antivirus, email security, network security devices, and security updates.
Field Service Operations
- Attend customer service requests within agreed SLA timelines and resolve hardware, software, and network incidents.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and perform preventive maintenance visits.
- Participate in installations, upgrades, migrations, and relocation projects.
- Read technical drawings and network layouts and ensure installations comply with specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong computer hardware, software, networking, troubleshooting, customer service, communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and commitment to continuous technical learning.
- A valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
Preferred Certifications
- Preferred training or certifications include Microsoft, CCTV or security systems, cybersecurity fundamentals, and OEM Interactive Flat Panel training.
