About the Role
PwC Middle East is seeking an External Audit Senior Associate to join its Assurance practice in Doha. The role involves analyzing financial statements, testing internal controls, and leading audit engagements for clients in financial services and other sectors.

Responsibilities
- Analyze client financial statements to ensure adherence to financial regulations
- Examine financial and accounting records, documents, and tangible items
- Test client organization's internal controls and processes
- Build trust and credibility with clients by understanding expectations and delivering high quality services
- Communicate engagement progress, risks, and issues to Manager/Partner
- Take full ownership of external file completion
- Analyze engagement economics and explain variances from budgets
- Review work of associate levels and provide on job training and feedback
- Ensure compliance with risk, quality, and independence matters
- Participate in business development activities and build client relationships
- Engage with diverse teams from planning through completion of audit
- Take part in digital initiatives and upskilling
Requirements
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Completed or pursuing professional qualification (ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA)
- Progressive experience at Senior Associate level in Big 4 external audit
- Experience in auditing Banking/Insurance clients is an asset
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in applying ISAs and IFRS knowledge
- Knowledge of Audit technologies and Data Analytics tools is a plus
