Responsibilities
- Initiate, manage and coordinate risk management activities across all stages of projects
- Chair/facilitate risk management meetings
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors and consultancy team members on risk management activities
- Monitor risk registers and trends across multiple projects within a program of works
- Create and maintain risk registers for projects
- Advise clients on risk management strategies and appropriate mitigation plans
- Work with the team to provide cost information for quantitative assessment of risks
- Lead and deliver all aspects of services from inception to completion
- Drive performance standards and technical excellence
- Actively support internal team and manage more junior staff
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years relevant post education experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant construction/infrastructure related discipline
- Master's degree preferred
- Good working knowledge of Middle East design and construction projects
- Demonstrable skills in implementation and monitoring of project risk management
- Familiarity with risk management software
- Demonstratable skill in quantitative cost risk assessment (Monte Carlo)
- Specific risk management qualification preferred

Outline of Duties

Qualifications

Desirable Knowledge and Expertise
- Good working knowledge of Middle East design and construction projects, conditions of contract and contractual issues.
- Demonstrable skills in implementation and monitoring of project risk management on building and infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with risks associated with new and refurbishment projects.
- Excellent knowledge of project risks throughout the project life cycle.
- Must be capable of chairing risk meetings and following up with project team members.
- Familiarity with risk management software.
- Demonstratable skill in quantitative cost risk assessment (Monte Carlo).
- Specific risk management qualification would be preferred.
