Position Overview
- The Center for Quantum and Topological Systems (CQTS) at NYU Abu Dhabi invites applications for an Associate Research Scientist or Research Scientist position in Quantum Chemistry.
- The candidate is expected to conduct research in quantum science focusing on physical chemistry aspects, especially NMR and NV centers.
- The selected candidate will work on cutting edge technologies in an excellent research environment within the newly established Quantum Lab.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in quantum science focusing on physical chemistry aspects, especially NMR and NV centers.
- Design quantum experiments in the Quantum Lab leading to advancement in the field.
- Work on interdisciplinary research problems with other postdocs of the center.
- Contribute to creating interdisciplinary connections within the research areas of the center.
Qualifications
- A PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field, with specialization and expertise in Quantum Chemistry, NMR, or NV centers.
- At least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.

Appointment Details
- The appointment will be for a period of two years, with possible extensions upon review.
- Preferred starting date is Fall 2026, but earlier dates are possible.
