Job Overview
The Associate Quality Inspector can use existing inspection procedures to solve routine or standard problems.
The role receives instruction, guidance, and direction from other team members while applying inspection and quality concepts and procedures.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist senior and quality inspectors with inspections, daily surveillances, and tests to determine product conformity.
- Identify non-conformities, support rectification, and ensure final resolution.
- Assess product quality against approved drawings, project specifications, and inspection and test plans.
- Document inspection results and raise corrective action records for non-conformities.
- Coordinate with operations, certifying authorities, clients, job-sharing personnel, and subcontractors.
- Perform field inspections in accordance with project specifications, scope of work, and quality plans.
- Confirm adherence to procedures and plans through audits and surveillance.
Essential Qualifications and Education
- High school diploma or degree in a relevant field of study.
- At least 2 years of quality control or discipline-related inspection experience.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
