Job Overview
The Associate Quality Inspector handles routine inspection problems using existing procedures and receives instruction and direction from other team members.
The role applies conceptual knowledge of inspection theories, practices, and procedures.
Inspection Duties
- Assist senior and other quality inspectors with independent inspections, daily surveillances, and tests under the Project Quality Plan.
- Determine product conformity against customer specifications, approved drawings, inspection and test plans, and project requirements.
- Perform field inspections according to the project scope of work and quality documentation.
Quality Documentation
- Identify non-conformities, document inspection results, raise corrective action records, and support final resolution.
- Coordinate inspection interfaces with operations, certifying authorities, clients, job-sharing personnel, and subcontractors.
- Use audits and surveillance to confirm adherence to approved procedures and plans.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or degree in a relevant field of study.
